Womb to world, heart to home.

For the woman becoming Mama,

and the family becoming whole.

From the moment your baby arrives, everything changes - your world expands, your heart grows, and life takes on a new rhythm. But amidst all that beauty, it can also feel overwhelming. That’s where I come in. I’m here to hold space for you as you navigate this tender season - offering calm, compassionate, and practical support for both you and your family. Whether through postnatal care, virtual support, or gentle planning sessions, my role is to nurture you as you find your flow in motherhood.

Because you deserve to be cared for, too - to feel grounded, confident, and supported as you move from womb to world, heart to home.

Future Holding

Future Holding is a gentle postnatal planning session designed to help you prepare for life after birth — not just the baby, but you.

Together, we explore the postnatal period with honesty and care, including rest, emotional changes, support needs, boundaries, and the early weeks and months of motherhood.

Night Holding

Night Holding is gentle, in-home postnatal doula support for the long nights after birth. This support is for mothers who need rest, reassurance, and practical help during the night — so they don’t have to do it alone.

True Holding

True Holding is a gentle, come-as-you-are postnatal support membership for mothers in the first year.

It offers ongoing emotional support and consistent connection for when motherhood feels tender, overwhelming, or quietly lonely — even when everything looks “fine” on the outside.

Mamas Meet Ups

Relaxed, welcoming gatherings for mothers in the postnatal period to connect with others who understand.

These meet ups are a gentle space to be yourself — no pressure to share, no advice-giving, no expectations. Babies are welcome, feeds and naps are honoured, and everything moves at a slower pace.

About Me

Hello, I’m Jade - a postnatal doula with a heart for truly holding and supporting Mamas as they navigate the beautiful, raw, and transformative journey into motherhood and for their first year.

As a doula, I bring warmth, understanding, and practical guidance to help you find your flow and confidence in motherhood. My approach is gentle and intuitive - a balance of emotional support, nurturing care, and down-to-earth help that meets you exactly where you are.

Outside of my work, I’m a wife and mama, and family life is at the heart of everything I do. I’m also a little bit spiritual - drawn to yoga, sound baths, and a crystal or two. These practices remind me daily of the importance of slowing down, listening inward, and finding moments of peace amidst the chaos.

My mission is simple: to help you feel held, heard, cared for and truly confident as you embrace life with your new baby.

Testimonials

"Jade was so lovely and welcoming when I first saw the advert for mamas meetups - which definitely helped with being an older first time mum and not knowing hardly anyone with young children. I really had to push myself to go because I suffer anxiety and I was so glad I did, everyone was lovely, we swapped stories and gave advice and I would definitely encourage anyone considering it to definitely go. Us mums need some us time and its lovely being able to have some adult conversations in a safe space xx" - Stacey

"I had a call with Jade to talk through my postnatal care. It was so great to talk it through and Jade also had great tips and advice on parts I didn’t know a solution too. She also sent useful links that I can refer back to after I have the baby. I would highly recommend a call with her. Thank you Jade" - Harriet

What is a Postnatal Doula?

A postnatal doula is a trained professional who provides emotional, practical, and informational support to families during the postpartum period. This support focuses on the wellbeing of the birthing parent, baby, and the whole family as you adjust to life after birth.

How would a doula support me and my family?

A postnatal doula offers nurturing, non-judgemental support during the weeks and months after birth. My role is to help you feel held, rested, and confident as you adjust to life with your baby.

This of course extends to your partner and any older children you have. A new baby brings adjustment for the whole family.

My Mission

My mission is simple yet deeply meaningful - to support, empower, and nurture Mamas as they transition into life with their new baby. I believe that every mother deserves to feel cared for, truly held, and valued in this vulnerable and transformative season.

Nurture

To offer gentle, compassionate care that supports Mamas as they rest, recover, and rediscover themselves after birth. It’s about meeting you where you are, with warmth, understanding, and no judgement.

Community

To create spaces where mothers and families feel seen, connected, and supported. Through shared stories, meet ups, and ongoing care, we build a sense of belonging — a reminder that you’re never alone in this journey.

True Holding

To hold space for you in every sense - emotionally, practically, and energetically. True holding is about being fully present, offering calm and steady support as you navigate the tender, transformative path from woman to Mama.

We offer a range of services:

From soulful guidance during pregnancy, to true holding during those early days, weeks and months.

Frequently Asked Questions

I understand that choosing a Doula is hard, inviting someone into your home during this vulnerable time is huge. Here's a few FAQ's to help you decide:

Question 1: What is a postnatal doula?

A postnatal doula offers emotional, practical, and informational support to families in the early weeks and months after birth. My role is to nurture you - the Mama - so you can rest, recover, and bond with your baby feeling calm and confident. I provide care that meets your unique needs, from gentle reassurance, to guidance around feeding, recovery, and family adjustment.

Question 2: Do I need to book?

Yes, to secure your chosen days/times and sessions. Ideally, we start planning your postnatal support during pregnancy so everything is ready when baby arrives. However, it’s never too late to reach out — whether your baby is days, weeks, or months old, support can make a meaningful difference at any stage, which is why I provide support up to one year postpartum.

Question 3: What's the difference between a doula and a midwife/health visitor?

Midwives and health visitors focus on your clinical care and your baby’s health. A postnatal doula complements their work by focusing on your wellbeing — emotionally, mentally, and practically. My role is not medical, but nurturing — to help you feel calm, confident, and cared for as you recover and adjust in this new chapter.

Question 4: How long does support last for?

Every family is unique, and support is flexible to your needs. Some mamas book just a few visits for an extra helping hand in the early days, while others prefer ongoing care over several weeks or months. We’ll create a package that feels right for you and your family. My typical care is provided from birth to one year postpartum.
